Admission to the University of Tartu international master's programmes ends on Friday

The University of Tartu invites international students interested in English-taught curricula to submit their applications in DreamApply. The application period for master's programmes ends on 15 March 2024. Studies will start at the beginning of September 2024.

This year, the University of Tartu offers admission to 31 curricula, including 28 master’s programmes, two bachelor’s programmes and an integrated curriculum in Medicine.

Applicants can use the curriculum search system that gives an overview of the available programmes, has a convenient search option and helps find a programme that best suits their needs. Both those who will graduate in summer 2024 and those who have graduated in the previous years are welcome to apply.

This year, two new English-taught master’s curricula have been launched. The Institute of Pharmacy is now offering a fully online programme in Clinical Pharmacy. This programme is designed to cater to the needs of working professionals, offering a unique opportunity for pharmacists, regardless of their location, to advance their expertise in clinical pharmacy. The programme stands out in the region as the pioneer in its domain, with no similar offerings available.

The new master’s programme Creative Project Management, launched by The University of Tartu Viljandi Culture Academy is meticulously designed to empower aspiring professionals with the skills and insights required to navigate the dynamic landscape of creative project management. This programme also offers online modules, allowing students to complete half of the programme online while continuing their professional career.

The application deadline for the Erasmus Mundus joint master’s programme Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, coordinated by the University of Tartu, is 5 January. The other exceptions are the master’s programmes Entrepreneurship in Economic Policymaking and Disinformation and Societal Resilience where applicants can apply in autumn (from 1 to 15 September), and the studies commence in the spring semester of 2024/2025.

Application requirements depend on the curriculum. For detailed information, see the web page of the particular curriculum. Estonian applicants can start submitting their applications to international curricula in the admission information system SAIS on 1 February. For more information, see the University of Tartu admissions website in English or in Estonian.
