Exhibition on W. B. Yeats

100 years ago, in November 1923, the Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded to William Butler Yeats, one of the foremost figures of Irish literature. 2023 saw the publication of the Estonian translation of Yeats’s poems and essays by Märt Väljataga.

To mark these two events, the Institute of Foreign Languages and Cultures invites you to the opening of an exhibition on William Butler Yeats on November 27, 2023 at 16:00 in the conference area of the institute (Lossi 3).

The exhibition will be opened by Ambassador James Sherry. Märt Väljataga will speak about the translations and Yeats’s poems will be read in English and Estonian.
