Russian language and culture courses
Spring 2026
Click on a course that interests you and select course version to see its description and timetable. You can find the course timetable in the study information system by clicking on the “Event” button under the course name. Language courses from B1 level onwards are taught in the respective language.
Autumn semester courses start in early September, and spring semester courses start in early February. Each semester lasts 15–16 weeks.
Registration for language courses opens on 15 May and 15 December, respectively, and remains open until the start of the semester. Please check the academic calendar for exact dates. University of Tartu students can register for courses directly in the study information system. Continuing education learners and visiting students need to complete an application form.
