Celebrating the Day of Gustavus Adolphus at the University of Tartu on Tuesday, 10 November:

1pm - Lectures, Jakobi 2-144:

• Gunnar Åselius, Professor of Military History at the Swedish National Defence College "The Generalship of Gustavus Adolphus"
• Pärtel Piirimäe, Associate Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Tartu "Gustavus Adolphus and Hugo Grotius“

3 pm - Opening of the photo exhibition "Life Puzzle" at the Department of Scandinavian Studies, Lossi 3

3.30 pm - Flowers will be placed by the Johan Skytte monument at Toomemägi, in front of the Supreme Court building and by the monument of Gustav II Adolf behind the university main building

5 pm - Concert in the Assembly Hall of the University of Tartu:

• Performers: Ivo Posti (countertenor), Peeter Sarapuu (baroque bassoon), Tõnu Jõesaar (viola da gamba), Imbi Tarum (harpsichord, organ).
• Programme: Michel Corrette, Joseph Bodin de Boismortier, J. N. P. Royer and others.

Free admission.
