On 12 September, the commission formed for the dean elections registered the dean candidates of the university’s four faculties.
All university members are invited to nominate candidates who deserve to be awarded the university’s honorary decoration for their outstanding achievements.
The University of Tartu doctoral students are invited to participate in the three-minute thesis competition on 28 September.
At the beginning of August, the menu layout of the UT website was updated.
The double diploma was awarded to students of the European Languages and Cultures curriculum, Moonika Põldvee, Gäroly Rohelsaar and Linda Tender, who studied in the specialisation of French language and literature.

On 29 June, Tartu City Day, the best building awards 2022 of Tartu were presented. Among others, the University of Tartu’s academic building at Lossi 3 won an award.
On 27 June, the global higher education consultancy Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) launched its World University Rankings 2024, adopting a methodology that has undergone considerable change. The University of Tartu is ranked 358th and again tops the list of Estonian universities.
We are conducting a survey to improve Estonian language teaching at the University of Tartu. In the survey, international master's students are invited to comment on their experience learning Estonian and their plans for the future.

Night Library will be 20 years old this year, and to celebrate this, the project will last longer than ever before - for five weeks. The Night Library opened on Monday, 15 May.
