Register for the language and culture courses starting in autumn

Students, staff, and alumni of the University of Tartu, as well as adult language and culture enthusiasts from outside the university, are welcome to participate. Registration ends on 30 August 2026, and courses begin in September.

We offer language courses for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners. This autumn, it is possible to choose from 20 languages: Estonian, Ancient Greek, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latin, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, and Ukrainian. Additionally, various culture courses are also available.

Registration for autumn semester courses runs from 15 May to 30 August 2026. University of Tartu students can register in the study information system. Continuing education learners are asked to submit an application to register.

Courses begin in September and continue until mid-December. Lessons usually take place once or twice a week.
