Photographs from the voyages of “Admiral Bellingshausen” in Antarctica and the Arctic

The exhibition of the 11th International Tartu Conference on Canadian Studies “Photographs from the Voyages of “Admiral Bellingshausen” in Antarctica and the Arctic” will be opened in October in the Lossi 3 hallway gallery.

The sailing yacht “Admiral Bellingshausen” sailed in Antarctica in 2019-2020, in the Arctic in 2021, and in 2023 it became the first ship to sail through the Northwest Passage under Estonian tricolour. Thousands of photos were taken on these voyages. Displayed is a small selection of photos by CJ Kask, Reino Kuber, Alvar Kõue and Tiit Pruuli.

The exhibition will remain open until 31 October 2025. Visiting the gallery is free of charge during the opening hours of the Lossi 3 building.
